Founder
Andrea is a pioneering figure in the field of Ayurveda beauty, and has dedicated her life to the study of Ayurveda, Jyotish, Yoga and the Vedic Sciences. Over 30 years ago, Andrea began her career as a make-up artist and aesthetician, and was one of the first Canadians in her field to incorporate Ayurveda, Yoga, Vedic Astrology and Eastern wellness practices into her spa treatments and services. Today, she is one of Canada’s leading Ayurveda beauty and wellness specialists and educators.
Andrea opened The Andrea Olivera Centre for Ayurveda Rituals in the year 2000. There, she developed many signature treatments, trained leading Canadian spa professionals, yoga therapist and individuals and created her own signature line of natural Ayurveda skincare and custom botanical perfumes. She has also developed an Ayurveda Spa Specialist certificate program and produced the first Ayurveda Expo in Toronto, where she bought together many leading Ayurveda, Yoga and Jyotisha experts. Andrea is widely known as Toronto’s Ayurveda Rejuvenation therapist to the Stars.

The Andrea Olivera Centre for Ayurveda Rituals was honoured with The Leading Spas of Canada 2018 Consumer’s Choice Award for Best Spa and Wellness Centre. Andrea was formally on the Board of Directors of the Ayurveda Association of Canada, where she served as a Communications and Marketing Director.
Today she continues to support the Vaidya’s (Ayurveda Doctors) in the growth of Ayurveda in Canada. Andrea’s life-long study and practice of ancient wisdoms of healing continue to inform her work and life. Her love of Vedic wisdom inspired the creation of The Eye on Yoga Planner, and the formulations of her Ayurveda Rituals Botanical Skincare line and Rituals of Scent 7 Botanical perfumes. At present Andrea focuses on training the Yoga and Spa industry into integrating ancient healing treatments based on Ayurveda with her team of Vaidya’s.
